Till when is Check-in and Check-out?
Please inform Blue Door Lagos of your expected arrival time in advance.

What is a room with en-suite bathroom?
It is a bedroom that is directly connected to a bathroom.

What is a room with private external bathroom?
The bathroom is outside of the bedroom, but it is for exclusive use of the guest.

Can I extend another night during my stay?
When current guests want to extend their stay, we require a payment to the management, at least 24 hours before the original check-out time, to confirm their intention to stay. In any case, if we are not able to honor the request, Blue Door Lagos will not be liable if there is no option of extension.

Can I book Tours & Adventure stuff with you?
We have a dedicated Guest Relations hosts at Blue Door Lagos where you can make all your travel arrangements, book car hire or adventure activities or just chat about where to go and what to do. We help you out with everything to assist you with day-to-day arrangements.
Do you provide a shuttle service from Faro Airport?
Yes, we can arrange a shuttle service from Faro Airport for you. This will cost 80 EUR per journey for up to 4 passengers with baggage which is payable directly to the driver. Kindly provide your exact flight details ( flight number, arrival time) and we will confirm the arrangements.
Do you have a Kitchen which I can use?
Yes, we have a shared kitchen that is fully equipped. You may also store your food in the shelf or in the fridge.
The nearest ATM cash machine is only a ‘3 minutes’ walk from the Bed & Breakfast.
We do offer a laundry service during regular business days. There are collections once a day and a load up to 5 kg costs 25 EUR.
Do you have your own parking facilities?
No, but there is free public parking in the street. Please never park in front of an stair entrance as we have a few elderly neighbours.
Is it safe to walk in the town?
Yes it is. Portugal is considered the 3rd safest country in the world.
How close are shops & restaurants?
The closest supermarket is a ‘three minutes’ walk away. The nearest restaurants are only ‘two minutes’ away. The old city, where you can find any kind of shops, restaurants and so on, is just ‘five minutes’ away.
X Is it possible to walk till the Meia Praia beach, the other side of the River?
Yes, you do it by walk crossing the River over the walking bridge, and it will take only around ’10 minutes’ from Blue Door Lagos till there. If you don‘t want to walk you can take a City Bus or a regular Taxi or Uber to get there.
Lagos Town’s most famous beaches are Dona Ana beach & Camilo beach, they are within walking distance for the keen hiker it’s just 20 minutes from Blue Door Lagos. Some other beaches are closer and take less time to get there by walk. For the rest of us a City Bus or regular taxi and Uber takes only 5 minutes till destination.
Can I smoke at Blue Door Lagos?
Smoking is only permitted on the rooftop.
The arquitectual design of Blue Door Lagos reflects the traditional Portuguese townhouse, with narrow doors and a lot of stairs. Therefore, to our regret, we are unable to provide our services to handicapped people.
Can i invite someone to my room?
For safety reasons, only guests, registered with us, are allowed to stay at Blue Door Lagos.
Is the price per person or per room?
The price is per room.
The room, I am interested in, is not available anymore since I last checked. Why is this?
We recommend to book early, so you can experience a memorable stay at Blue Door Lagos Bed & Breakfast. There is a higher demand on weekends, public & school holidays, and the hot summer months of July and August.
